I thought of the r/c stuff but it's weird, some of it doesn't even have piston rings... not made for durability as you noted. The Chinese 4 hp is still too big, unless it delivers the same good bsfc when outputting less than 1 hp. Seems everything needs to be loaded to at least 50% of rated continuous output to get in the good efficiency zone. Some of the dinky 4 stroke gas weed trimmer engines might be in the right hp zone but then the diesel cycle is gone.
