Since I have a short drive to work, since April, I am reduced to trying to maintain 35 or better per tank. My goal for 2011 was to first get a 40 mpg tank. When I got it, I got three in a row. Ended up with five 40+mpg tanks in 2011 so I was pretty happy with that.
Not sure I can do much with my average with a 5.3 mile commute.
