My goal is to get my 2011 Tacoma to a steady 25mpg. It gets about 22 right now, and the highest from the summer was 24. The mods I'd like to do are warm air intake, exhaust, header, and possibly a tanou cover. The fact that's it's so new and still under warranty kinda limit me to what I can do. But... I had a 4 cyl 5 sp ford ranger 3 years ago, which is actually the reason I joined this site and how I got into ecomodding. Well I sold it to my buddy, he broke it and gave it back to me. My plan is to make it my Eco toy. I already put in a manual steering box, but since it's not my primary vehicle, the skies the limit. My planned mods for 2012 are underbelly tray, exhaust, 1 piece lightweight nose, major weight reduction, and aero cap. And although it's not quite a "goal" for this year. Im going to keep scouring Craigslist, municipal auctions, and junkyards for a small 3 or 4 cyl diesel from a Jacobsen lawn mower or something similar, because my oil-burning 180k mile 2.3l beast is just begging for a replacement!
