Well, I didn't meet my goal of 28mpg for the year. My avg. mileage actually dropped a little (27.7 in 2010 to 27.2 in 2011)

I wasn't terribly surprised though. I had a little higher percentage of city driving and my wife (definitely not a hypermiler) has been driving the car more. On the upside, though, we drove fewer miles this year (5113mi) and only used 188.1gal of gas. at least I can brag that I reduced my carbon footprint even if my mileage dropped

We hit the highway less than 20 days last year and that was over half of our annual mileage. The rest of the year was short tripping around town. I think this year I need to learn to bike more.
