that quote you have up there is the "happiest" of the "happy talk" about propane. The way I and many others see it, is it is another fuel. So many grams of carbon, so many BTU's per gallon.
If it really worked as outlined, there would be hundreds of thousands of miles of comprehensive logs to look at. I can't find them.
What does make sense is the cost per BTU. When propane is low enough relative to diesel it makes sense to a degree. It won't for me, due to the number of miles I'll put on this rig. I'd rather do aero than complicate my systems further.
