this will work, but...
you can do this with a simple kfz relais too. the gnd 85 goes to the same power sorce as the drl does. and drl changes to the 87.
the sidelight contact has nearly gnd, when sidelights are off, and 12v, if sidelights are on. this way a closer relais drives the drl and not a opener. and wiring is little esayer too.
