I see a small but significant, yet not necessarily game ending, problem.
The aircraft door seal is straight line. When it is bent to fit in a
wheel well, the inner side of the channel that holds the seal will deform,
possibly enough to not hold the seal.
Example: Assume the aluminum? channel holding the bristles is 1/2 in. tall.
If the channel is bent to fit in a wheel well 24 in. from front to
rear, essentially a semi-circle with a radius of 12 in., there is a difference
of ~1.5 inches between the arc at the longer outside and shorter inside of
the channel. The material has to go somewhere. I suspect it will form into
small, wave-like distortions which may not grip the bristles.
It may be possible to re-crimp the channel to hold the bristles.
It may be easier to start with a pre-bent channel, like one meant for a
truck-sized wheel well, even though it's radius of bend too large, at least
its not flat = infinite radius.
