3wheeler, Thank you for your concern. I have ridden my Ninja several hundred miles, often in windy conditions and in close proximity to trucks without issue. For the future I plan to go a frame-mounted dustbin style fairing for the front.
I did encounter handling issues with the fully faired front fender on my Vision. I conferred with Alan Smith who has ridden thousands of miles with his fully faired fender and he advised me to starting raising the bottom edge behind the fork. This worked well and restored my confidence in riding it in windy conditions. The Vision is not as good as the Ninja in handling wind turbulance but I haven't found it to be unmanageable.
