Okay... My friend is thinking a set of gears out of an v6 s10 . I believe they are 3.42 ... I know with a cam swap, lowering, aero mods, and the tires he just installed we ought to be able to get close to 40.... No mods at all he just knocked down 26 mpg..

1993 Geo Metro- 361k on original drivetrain minus head. Best mpg of 75.23. Grille block,mirror delete, kammback, fender skirts, and 135-80-15 tires..... Oh and alot of Hypermiling techniques.
