metro parts are getting harder to find. fewer metros on the road and lots of demand for the parts that wind up in the scrap yard. Get in good with your local yard and see if you can get one of the guys to call you when they get a new metro.
When it comes down to it. mod choice comes down to what your commute is like. If you drive mostly in the city at speeds under 35-40 MPH then Areo mods are going to have almost no effect. If you drive mostly on the highway, the chances to use Hypermilling techniques are at a minimum. That said. Both are always worth while, as long as they are effective. Keep a fuel log. Monitor changes to the car and your technique. Make notes on what changes you make and what effects it has.
The single best piece of advice I can give is "Don't be in a hurry. Ever." this will pay dividends both in fuel costs and in personal health.
Best of luck and keep us posted!
