Well, I did have the smilie in there as I wasn't entirely serious with my post.

But, I think it's reasonable to expect the driveshaft to hold up at speeds in the 130 mph range. You didn't expect yours to fail at a comparable speed. If it were a three year old V8 Mustang you wouldn't expect it to fail, right?

Keep in mind that the current V6 Mustang makes more power than the standard V8 in 2009...
