I had a 2001 Yamaha BW50 scooter. Stock it would do 43 mph, 83 mpg. I upgraded the variator and rollers, primary gearset (geared taller) and 70cc Athena big bore kit and then it would do 62 mph when I was in a full tuck. 100 mpg after the mods. Down a hill I buried the needle a few times, so probably almost 70 mph. Surprisingly stable at that speed. Glad no cops ever caught me!
