I have been here long enough to remember the thread and knew what to search for. I have deleted my passenger mirror (not easy in a VW) and fold the driver's with an inner and outside bullseye mirrors. In heavy traffic I just reach out and unfold the driver's side. I have photos of my belly pan in my album on this site if you are interested.
