When people feel financially pressured and personally screwed because of a societal 'necessity' they consume, the general public tends to have no interest in changing their habits/perspectives. This attitude of "entitlement" is a growing problem. People seem to think they are entitled to things just because they want it. Never mind about working for something. Thats just an old fashioned way of thinking.
Its a dangerous path we as a society have taken. (IMNSHO)
