40% of our oil is domestic(?) Depends on where you get the source from. Allegedly most of our oil exports is in the form of oil products that can't be refined in to gas and diesel. Allegedly most of our oil imports are from the Western Hemisphere. At least a bit of good news. And AT LEAST the E gasolines have a certain percent of US renewable products. Maybe the E15 and above could almost say more than half is domestic. Or possibly ALL the gasoline is domestic depending on the company and EXACTLY where it came from. But I just don't feel like researching that right now. It would be nice to know exactly what company(s) are 100% domestic oil.
