I would rather feed people with corn rather than put it in our gas tanks. With that said, I don't see why we still offer ANY form of farm subsidies while we are artificially inflating the cost of grains. Even then, ethanol is subsidized. As I have said before, butanol is a lot more similar to gasoline in the way it combusts (octane, A/F ratio, etc.), so I would like to at least see a move towards this if we are stuck on burning food with our engines.
