I've started to notice a trend in the freeway driving down here. Maybe it is just the fact that I'm driving a little later at night, but people seem to be content to go a bit slower on the freeways. Today it was pretty easy to stay in a 60-65 mph flow of traffic. Purely anecdotal, of course, but my typical mileage is ~28.5 mpg for this 60-mile freeway circuit. Today, with the reduced speed, I saw 29 mpg flat... so about .5 increase.
Now I'm wondering if the trend will continue...
