2012 - 1994 = 18 years of doing that with no fuel system issues whatsoever.
To OP: Run it down to under 1/4 tank before filling up, and halve the number of fuel and time wasting trips to the gas station vs. piddling around with partial tank fills.

I used to do that too with my '95, never had any problems. I really loved that truck, I thought 18mpg city was pretty decent.
Was yours the 300 i6?
