I wouldn't go cheap on compressor and tanks for CNG - or any other pressurized, flammable gas for that matter.

They give 2900 to 3600 psi though - 200 to 250 bar - so the tanks must be able to hold that much pressure.
The tanks hold 3600PSI since I have a real stock CNG car lined up (but may not buy)

I am not interested in compressing the gas to 3600psi at home, I would prefer 1000psi or so due to speed, safety, reliability, cost and the potential of buying used.

All 3600psi pumps that would fit in my home are
1. expensive
2. Unreliable
3. not rebuildable.
4. High cost per gallon pumped.

Lower pressure units are more efficient per gallon pumped, generally rebuildable and much more reliable, sadly I don't know what brands are best for flammable materials.

AKA afterall, somebody is compressing the hydrogen, nitrogen, and natural gas welding tanks?
