I've been doing some more thinking (I know, dangerous).
This is the true "2-Part" concept (see below).
I diverted from the simple bottom wedge concept (see very first red pen sketch) when I tried to fancy it up.
This may have clouded the concept, and has now lead to realization that 5-Part cars exist now in racing, and 2-Part cars be our racing car past.

The more I carve into the 2-Part car, the more it becomes a 5-Part car. The five parts are; 4 wheels and 1-teardrop bubble canopy.
