Geo Metro 3 wheeler - lightened, narrowed greenhouse, shortened wheelbase

(I'll be surprised if this hasn't been posted already...)

Found on Reddit - http://www.reddit.com/r/WTF/comments...ay_about_this/

Looks like a work in progress:

  • It's been converted to 3 wheels. (Is there a California carpool lane exemption for 3-wheelers or something?)
  • Front body looks like it may have been converted to a 1-piece clamshell (note lack of separate hood)
  • It's probably lighter than stock (foam board/fiberglass on the rear body?)
  • It's possibly more aerodynamic than stock, but I'm not certain about that.
  • The decrease in frontal area achieved through greenhouse narrowing is negated (to an unknown extent) by increasing the front fender width to fully enclose the wheels (when steered).
  • I wouldn't want to venture a guess on what the body mods have done to the drag coefficient.

Anybody we know?
