That's good news. Silly politics is finally subsiding?

Back to diesels. Even from a performance standpoint they make sense. An older 5.9L Cummins out of a Dodge pickup is only a couple hundred pounds more than a big block V8. But they can be modified to push over 1000 HP far cheaper and more reliably, with the added bonus of being driveable on the street and probably capable of over 30 mpg if driven nicely. Try that with a hot V8!
