Thanks deathtrain, the MR2 electric steering pump seems to be the most cost-effective pump found to-date.

Still researching on whether the steering pump ECM will be needed to help offset the MR2's motor amperage: the Sporty's 70amp alternator / wiring system is approx. 80% utilized in summer, with A/C and the electric fan setup in use.
