Yes, I said it.

Yes, I'm throwing it up on the block to get chopped off. Yes, I think I need motivation.

Track car back together (middle of timing belt, water pump, oil pump, ps pump, replacement/overhaul/re-seal)

Sell Camry

Get Fit on LED's, grill block, full belly pan

Biggest task will be the belly pan. Great idea for a thread!

hey, i should have put some smileys up.

I'm having troubles getting motivated. figured if I mouthed off, it would push me to get my stuff done.

I actually have faith your car will run by the date - I'm more worried about my own.

Thanks Doug, I was looking for motivation too.

I am going to finish researching, source, and install the electric Power Steering replacement mod. on my vehicle, goal is to get consistently above 30 MPG in summer months... Personal best was 29.6 MPG tank fill last August '11 - looking to exceed that this year consistently.

Thanks deathtrain, the MR2 electric steering pump seems to be the most cost-effective pump found to-date.

Still researching on whether the steering pump ECM will be needed to help offset the MR2's motor amperage: the Sporty's 70amp alternator / wiring system is approx. 80% utilized in summer, with A/C and the electric fan setup in use.

DC ampereage is load related. What this means is the electric pump for the PS won't take full amperage unless you are in a parking lot going very slow.
in that case, the battery will help you for the few seconds needed.

Yes. Well said, drmiller.

My Git'rDun items - hopefully completed in time for the Watkins Glen Green Grand Prix on April 20-21:

1) Finish installing the EPES: Externally Powered Electrical System with full complement of fuses, switches etc. My thread at: http://ecomodder.com/forum/showthrea...tor-20008.html

2) Finish redesigning/building/rebuilding the [EDIT - LINK FIXED] rear spoiler mod. [/EDIT] Right now it's in the garage where it spent the winter. Warmer weather is upon us.
