My wife and I have been retired for five years now, and we have stopped driving sticks.
We are looking at the EX with the
Convenience package because it
has the back-up cam and a few other items we like.
Added to that will be the Eco package, which I think will include ISG..
I don't plan on having my wife hypermile, but with a real-time MPG display,
I'm very hopeful that I'll be able to teach her the benefits of things like
driving slightly under the speed limit and not taking off, when the light
turns green, like it was a drag race..
It's got a 6-speed AT+OD and should do okay.
I can get 40 MPG (@ 40 MPH on flat road) with my Escape with a 6-speed AT,
that little Rio should be able to do a lot better (for a light-footed driver).
