the $ economy gain of diesel sedans in the US are not worth anything-

whats the point of having a car that gets 20% better efficiency than gasoline when the diesel costs 20% more than the gasoline?

thats here in NY and NJ.

the hyundai elantra 6 speed manual is supposed to get 40 mpg but it doesn't.
you CAN expect an average of 35-38 though.

that is pretty good , cuz the rented kia rio subcompact that i am driving now is only giving 26 average (with ac on 3/4 of the time)
