When I swapped a 350 into a 4x4 s-10, tranny shop gave me enough for the 2.8v6 700r4 to cover his rebuild & shift kit into my 350TH. Later replaced with a 700R4 and sold him the 350TH for a third the cost of the rebuilt & shift kit v8-700r4. Just saying your tranny might be even up trade or close to for a fresh 700r4.
