My suggestion for a header would be 1.25" primaries into a 4-1 merge. Long tubes will improve the torque characteristics somewhat. 1.25" should be large enough to at least match the port. Anything smaller than the exhaust port is a no-no due to reversion which is bad. The exit should be straight and as long as possible too, or at least keep the bend radius from becoming too short.
