My suggestion for a header would be 1.25" primaries into a 4-1 merge. Long tubes will improve the torque characteristics somewhat. 1.25" should be large enough to at least match the port. Anything smaller than the exhaust port is a no-no due to reversion which is bad. The exit should be straight and as long as possible too, or at least keep the bend radius from becoming too short.

Ill be on the road soon with my VX swap and Hf trans in my CRX and Ill be sure and post up my FE as frequently as possible.. Im going to be running the Z6 4-2-1 factory manifold.. It may not be the most Ideal but the O2 placement is in a good spot and the manifold was cheap since I didn't get one when I bought my swap...

If you have a larger pipeline, then the pulse will take longer time to get to the end, the big rebound, it will start traveling backwards, resulting in back pressure

This thread is exactly the opposite of what this site needs. If this site is to be the main resource those tired of poor fuel economy come to as gas prices go up they don't need to see childish bickering. It's these "No I'm right and you never will be" attitudes on this site that really bother me. You should all be ashamed of yourselves.

thanks for the reminder. I'm guilty of this on other threads.

Some of us learn by arguing - and we forget not everyone is as thick skinned as we are.

Please continue to remind us - I appreciate it.

Thanks for re-stating what needed saying, Brian.

And drmiller too, for recognizing that trying to keep things civil helps the big picture.
