I was considering a heavy cotton canvas painted with hitemp silicone sealant but it would need seams and hems and grommets or pockets f o r the straps. there is a thread titled 'weird idea' and someone fashioned a belly pan from a tarp laminated to chicken wire, another with window screen material , I think there has also been one made of paper mache. !
