Those are the 2 most common things.
I am not sure of the extent to witch the factory computer can be reprogrammed with EFILive. I have considered the possibility that the OEM computer works so well with EFILive it may be the reason no other aftermarket VVT controllers have poped up. If that is the case I have a lot to learn.
