well the cooling proble has been solved... the raising the hood helped a bit, but what solved it was the addition of holes in the "bug splat area" of the nose .. just started drilling 2"1/4" holes in that area did 2 then test drove it then added a few then drove , came up with a rectabngular area of smaller than a license e plate to make normal cooling for the car.. it was warn today.. mid 80's and it was at normal oppertating temp..


I also added a vacuum gauge int he car as it not fuel injected.. seems tyo helped my driving style .. being able to monitor vacuum on the motor.... the gauge sits int he cabin next to the gauge cluster.
The n i decided to raise the hood drastically.. lisfted it and started filling the 3" gabe between the hood and the fenders with foam.. the next step will be to extend the hood closer to the windshield.
