Nice! I could never get my '74 Olds Delta 88 out of the teens and I never tried with my 70 Nova with the 327 and four-barrel carb... suggestions... check tire pressure and increase as you feel it is safe, certainly to max sidewall. Drive the freeway stretch more slowly than today's 70mph. Try 60mph (a mile a minute). Also, can the road boat be flat towed? The owner's manual will tell you. If she can be towed flat, then she can glide in neutral, engine off, even with an automatic trans. But don't try that in traffic, and don't try it if you are not certain the car can be flat towed. You don't want to have a wreck or wreck the trans, kapeesh?

I will rebuild Black and Green over decades as parts die, until it becomes a different car of roughly the same shape and color. My minimum fuel economy goal is 55 mpg while averaging posted speed limits. I generally top 60 mpg. See also my Honda manual transmission specs thread.
