My backseat width is 49 cm . From there I started with a radius of 200 cm until the side angle reached 10.3 degrees. From there it is straight ending in a width of 14.5 cm.
I did not go to zero for practical reasons. Handling in my garage of the bike and limiting the side surface for windy conditions.
Probably in case of a competition I would add the additional 42 cm and make a full tail.
