I got in my car this morning pretty psyched because today is full up day. (you will only hear that here)

I remember noting the gas guage last night slightly above 1/4 tank, and was sure I would be able to complete a round trip to and from work.

all week I have been getting great average readings, 45-48 mpgs.

I was a bit surprised to see my tank was just above empty when I started on my commute this morning. JUST ABOVE EMPTY?? ???? ?? I was sure I saw more last night.

I drove to work and had to fill up before going home

my mpgs came out worst than last week. around 34mpgs when I had been averaging 35 before really trying png

I drove home and stopped at a station near my house and filled up again. this fill up gave me 42mpgs . much closer to what I expected.

now I have to go out and spend more money on a locking gas cap!! !!!!!!! booooo
