At what temp does your car operate with the lower grill block?

mine never seems to go past 220f with an upper grill block, that is on really steep incline.

I have never seen my temps go above 135f but I have only been watching this month, and the weather has been coldish

I drove to and from work today! 90km each direction. I aggressivly accelerated to 105kmh followed by a glide down to 88kmh I averaged 46mpgs to work and 47mpgs home. I have to get to the gas station to verify this but my fuel level most tanks would show 3 quarters of a tank at 150km and I am past 180km and still not at 3 quarters of a tank. :-$

I use MPG units instead of metric on the fuel economy display in the Insight for the same reason: much better resolution

plus canadians are
known for being a mishmash of ideas and standards.
that is why when you ask for directions most people will say" about 5 minutes up the road" instead of telling you a distance.

Is Wolfe Island one of the Thousand Islands?

I have a good friend who lives there.

Wolfe... I wasn't sure, but Wikipedia says "yes" :P. It also says it's the largest. Learn something new every day. I've never been on Wolfe - always meant to go have a look.

I think I was siphoned last night

I got in my car this morning pretty psyched because today is full up day. (you will only hear that here)

I remember noting the gas guage last night slightly above 1/4 tank, and was sure I would be able to complete a round trip to and from work.

all week I have been getting great average readings, 45-48 mpgs.

I was a bit surprised to see my tank was just above empty when I started on my commute this morning. JUST ABOVE EMPTY?? ???? ?? I was sure I saw more last night.

I drove to work and had to fill up before going home
my mpgs came out worst than last week. around 34mpgs when I had been averaging 35 before really trying png
I drove home and stopped at a station near my house and filled up again. this fill up gave me 42mpgs . much closer to what I expected.

now I have to go out and spend more money on a locking gas cap!! !!!!!!! booooo

135 is too cold for water temp, should be 180-210, maybe t'stat stuck open, but I still think it would get to 160's. That number looks more like intake air temp.

They also have devices that fit in the fuel neck that prevent a tube being stuck down into the tank.
