yeah, I think the kammback helped alot.
the thing about this trip is it's more downhill when heading east. Flagstaff is high at 7k+ and San Antonio is at sea level.
I have always gotten great mileage going.
Luckily, I dont have to drive back ever again!!!!
Also, I think that the 'nut behind the wheel' is REALLY a big factor in GOOD mpg consistantly.
