If you look at the airflow just above the trunk/boot of the car, the lighter blue stream of air follows an angle which is less steep.
Yes the airflow remains attached ( my mistake with the wording on that ) but the airflow does not stick to the trunk/boot area all the way down the length of the car.

( Artistically, I think the car looks awkward with only one wheel covered and the other so pronounced. I would have made the wheel either the body color or black.)

Love the design on that car. It resembles a slalom racer.
