UPDATE
So i was ecstatic for this tank of gas i was at half tank and nearly 300 miles in an likely would have smashed a 500 mile tank and been about 44mpg
On my way home from a 12hr night shift i was lugging along keeping constant throttle positron and threw a cel.. didn't notice driveability issues until i hit a stop light and realize i had power loss at low rpm...10 miles later knock and plumes of white smoke... Towed to dealer and 2 Pistons lost compression and oil soaked plugs...
Still awaiting final diagnosis but a new long block is on order... My break in was about 3k where i drove somewhat aggressive at low <4k rpm i am so confused at how low rpm hypermile techniques would blow my motor
