It is really load that you want. You will increase throttle slightly as you accelerate in order to maintain load as RPMs climb. I believe ScanGauge has a load reading, but I am not sure how to tell you to find it because I use the UltraGauge.

I will rebuild Black and Green over decades as parts die, until it becomes a different car of roughly the same shape and color.
