I've thought of doing that, but on the 4WD S-10 this is where the oil filter is. It's already hard enough to access the filter with the added chin spoiler I have.

The pool noodle experiment was interesting, to bad it didn't stay on for long.
How low can you go?

The added lawn edging isn't improving on my MPGs...at least with city driving. It's rather interesting that it only scrapes a little here or there. Gonna give it 2 more tanks of gas to show me some improvement before I pull it off...

I might consider just keeping the lawn edging in front of the tires...

You might want to consider a remote mount of yer oil filter. It would give you the best of two worlds...easy access and air flow management.

The pool noodle was just an attempt at a low cost lower air dam. It was fun but it didn't show me the improvement I would've liked to have seen...
