I have own this car for almost a year and only recently have I tried to get good millage I started with a steady 34mpg then to 38mpg with wiper delete and grill block off. Recently swapped to a Vx transmission and can get 40mpg easily and my record is 44.6mpg windows down

Mods:
4-2-1 header
HAI
Magna flow exhaust
Carbon fiber Hood
Grill block off
195/50/15 tires 40psi
2.5" drop on Tanabe coilovers

I have a set of 14" wheels I want to put on but money for tires is needed first
