On my 1998 Eldorado security light comes on once in awhile and I have to wait 20 min. before I can attempt to restart it. Frustrating.
Before installing my kill switch, I ran a test by pulling the fuel injector fuse. The engine stopped immediately. I put the fuse back in, and key started the engine. So, I wired the kill switch to break the fuel injector fuse circuit.

I have never had problems restarting at speeds from zero to about 60 MPH. The key switch is left on, and I do not get a security light.
