Maybe bondo up around the edges of the headlight plastic so it is level there instead of a step. Mask off the plastic in a nice neat pattern before you paint. Make the paint line go onto the plastic to make it blend in. Paint the screws that hold the plastic in.

Note the black in front of the headlight under the headlight plastic gives the whole nose a solid look. You can even paint black around the air inlet hole to give it a wider look. |
Yeah well at this point I'm not to concerned about looks, and its a slow reprocess doing all this stuff.
