112 miles on a single charge

I thought I’d post this here since I consider my conversion of a ’77 MG Midget to electric a success. I have driven a midget for the last 35 years. 10 years ago I started thinking a midget would be a great car to convert because it is so small and light. I finally decided to try it this last year because the LiFePo4 batteries where being described as real by many people converting cars. I now own a electric midget with a tested range of 112 miles in around town driving. It should get close to that at an even 50mph as well. To get that range I lightened my flywheel, run 40 PSI in my tires, and even tried an air dam, but that didn’t seem to work. I’ve learned a lot from this site, and I hope that maybe other people at this site might consider converting their car to electric. I have a web site about my build where I try to describe many of the aspects of doing this. It is becoming easier to do all the time.
