This one is a PDF of a dissertation entitled "Part-Load Optimized SI Engine Systems," and I spent an hour reading parts of it this afternoon. It has discussions of efficiencies and losses due to friction and such that confirm many of the things we have seen discussed on this site. Some useful graphics and tables, appendices. Nice. Thanks.

I will rebuild Black and Green over decades as parts die, until it becomes a different car of roughly the same shape and color.
