Hi All,

My guess is that this technique will have its best effect where Vortices are generated, and the resulting vortex increases drag. This is different than the glider application.

So, maybe the top third of the C pillar is another good point of application in some cars with high angle rear glass.

But, I think the boundary layer also has to be thin for this to work well. And the upper third of the A pillar is such a place. The C pillar will have a thick low-energy boundary layer. So, maybe it will need thicker/longer zig zags.
