Well the fact of the matter is, that it is well proven that in a engine; that is introducing atomized liquid fuel to a compressed combustion chamber; bennifits from the introduction of a gaseous combustible. It improves the travel of the flame front ignighting the atomized droplets reducing the unburned hydrocarbons, and improving the torque and hp output.
the rub comes, in where the energy to produce the gaseous combustable comes from the crankshaft of the engine...
to truly bennifit from HHO one needs to take the waste heat from the coolant system and or the exhaust to generate the electricity to do the electrolosys. then the true bennifit will be dicernable...
take a look at the gluppity glup turbo diesel hybrid electric motorcycle on youtube. I am building it to do just this.
If you have a 100 hp engine, you have 100hp of waste heat exiting the radiator, and 100 hp of waste heat exiting the exhaust... that is 200hp, take one third of that waste energy like a combined cycle natural gas power plant and you would have a 160 hp car getting spectacular fuel mileage...
take a look into means of extracting the waste heat off the engine, like a rankine steam generator and or thermocouples to do this.
the debate will then become is it better to couple that electricity back to the crank shaft directly using an electric drive or use it to electrolyze water???
