As far as something to measure I use a shot glass measuring cup made from pyrex as Acetone melts plastic. Go to your local grocery store and look in the baking isles they have to have all kinds of standardized measuring cups most made from pyrex because the are microwave safe.

Now I will be doing another such experiment this week as I drive to Tulsa. I'll be in a three car caravan with 2 xB's and 1 tC. I plan on taping up the xB i'm driving for better aero, over inflate the tires and run Acetone and compare those results against the other xB and see what turns up. Again not as scientific as I'd like but we will be traveling together and I will be working out a system to share each others draft for the same amount of time to try and keep the numbers consistent. Both owners know what their current tank ranges are because I have asked them to monitor it prior to the trip. Should be fun .. I should convert a couple more non believers after this ..
sounds fun,, then you can do their cars for the trip back and WOW them
