If I were you, id put acetone in the next three tanks. On Toyota ECUs it usually takes three whole tanks before it reprograms itself to any changes that you have done.

Quick stupid question I have. Where and what can I somethin get that will measure in mL?
Try going to the pharmacy. Look in the diabetics section. Buy a syringe. Quick, not messy and accurate.

Drafting !!! Haha, at the speed limit, she'll never pass a car around here let alone find a truck to draft ... no she is not that brave especially with the baby in the car .. I can't even get her to roll the windows down in the city ... yet.

As far as something to measure I use a shot glass measuring cup made from pyrex as Acetone melts plastic. Go to your local grocery store and look in the baking isles they have to have all kinds of standardized measuring cups most made from pyrex because the are microwave safe.

Now I will be doing another such experiment this week as I drive to Tulsa. I'll be in a three car caravan with 2 xB's and 1 tC. I plan on taping up the xB i'm driving for better aero, over inflate the tires and run Acetone and compare those results against the other xB and see what turns up. Again not as scientific as I'd like but we will be traveling together and I will be working out a system to share each others draft for the same amount of time to try and keep the numbers consistent. Both owners know what their current tank ranges are because I have asked them to monitor it prior to the trip. Should be fun .. I should convert a couple more non believers after this ..

Now the good news is if 1mL works, you can creep it up in qty until you plateau then back off. I keep reading 3 oz is the magic number but that is 9 times the amount I am using now and just seems like a waste of Acetone, but I' sure others will try this and document the results a bit better.

I use the little shot cup that comes with cold medicine. It's simple to find, doesn't melt and has pretty good numbers in Ml AND Oz.

That's a silly thing to say.

Think about it: a 3 mpg gain from a Silverado pickup is not equivalent to a 3 mpg gain from a Metro.

If you call tank-to-tank driving "testing", yes it's been done with a Prius. No change seen.

Say what you will, but in all the vehicles I've tried it in, I get an average of 3MPG. Take into account the right mixes and gas. I know that a '99 Park ave Ultra gets roughly 3mpg, A 3800 regal gets 3 MPG mpg, and my toyota truck got around 3 MPG. Those are numbers I calculated throughout several tanks of gas, not a guess.......
